Unfortunately the Low Edges have had to pull out of tomorrow night's gig at the Barfly. Not to worry though, the wonderful Rosemary have come to our rescue and will now be opening the show for us. Onstage about 11pm.

I need four people to flyer for the Barfly for me on Friday night - they'll pay you a tenner each and let you in free, and I might slip you a drinks voucher or two.

I also need someone to do the guestlist from 10pm-2am - obviously you'll miss the bands but you'll be paid £30 and can come in and dance for the messy last hour when we'll be onstage hoping we can still see our records in front of our faces. (This is surely ideal for you Kill City haters ;))

Right, who thinks I should dye my hair brunette? Like the colour it is on the bottom? All of it? Maybe with a hint of red? I do like being blonde, but I've always been utterly convinced it doesn't suit me. It also seems to get me a lot of attention from unsavoury characters. I'm not overly bothered by the latter really.

I pondered this about 6 months ago, then chickened out because i've never had dark hair, and it would be physically impossible for me to go blonde again if I didn't like it. I'd have to grow it out. Which would take, like, years.

So, yes, advice please...

You know how if you mix all the colours of the rainbow together, paint stylee, you get black? Well, if you mix all the emotions you know together, what emotion do you get? That's my emotion at the moment. It's not black though.

Yes, not really in an appropriate frame of mind to translate any of my thoughts into an LJ entry*

However, I am going to do something very un-me and post a photo of me. This is un-me because I am the most unphotogenic person I know and refuse to believe I look like what I do in photos. This however, proves that I don't look TOO bad post-gig/party/food fight/misbehaviour in 30-odd degrees heat, having made very little attempt to wash or prettify myself and not knowing my photo was being taken. I also look like I am being peaceful and relaxed, although really I was trying to dig a hole with a Coke bottle...

Thank-you Brenda and your magic camera. As more than one person has said "That's a lovely photo. I think it's the flowers..."

I am rubbish at LJ. I knew I would be. There are various reasons that I'm too rubbish at LJ to bother explaining.

In the last month I could have written some seriously entertaining LJ entries. I didn't though, I just emailed Lisa and Phil and Davey and Alex and my mum instead.

I am going to quote a reaction from Phil today:

Just so everyone knows I can tell the story of my life in an entertaining manner. Just not on LJ.

I never listen to music at work really and I spend so long trying to decide what mood I'm in that by the time I have my mood's changed.

When something really exciting/significant/emotional happens in my life the last thing I want to do is sit and type it on LJ. I wouldn't mind you all knowing, but I'd rather tell you in person, or in a personal email that is tailored to interest and entertain you specifically, or perhaps reference something that only applies to us.

I know what I mean.

On that dull note I'm off to send someone an entertaining email...

Ok, can someone tell me what's going on on Friendster. Am I on some sort of recommended slags list or something. In the last fortnight I've received about 10 messages a day from randoms. This is the most recent, but they've all been along the same lines...
